Low Hum: Images from the Everyday: This is a series about the heroism of the simple life. Every day we get up and go through the same, almost duplicate experiences of washing ourselves, feeding ourselves, clothing ourselves, going to work, doing the same tasks at work--and somehow most of us manage not to go mad from this repetitiveness. This series, then, is about being on that edge where the routine can start to feel monotonous and empty. It talks of the heaviness and difficult aspects of life that we typically try to keep repressed--usually with lots of distractions like television and shopping and music.
