Work Experience
2000-Present McCarthy Graphics (Ithaca, New York)
Photographer & Graphic Designer
Opened own graphics company in 2000 to independently pursue commercial projects in photography and graphic design. Specialities include travel photography and fine art photography (including portraits, nudes, architectural and landscape imagery). Graphic design projects include identity packages, annual reports, display graphics as well as photography reproduction (including high resolution scanning, art reproduction and page layout).

Onondaga Community College (Syracuse, New York)
Digital Imaging & Photography Professor, Photo Area Coordinator
Taught beginnning to advanced photography and digital imaging classes to art and non-art majors.  Photo instruction included standard black and white, color, alternative processes such as cyanotype, gum bichoromate as well as photo history.  Digital class focused on Photoshop and Illustrator for fine art and design applications.  Coordinator respnsibilities included reorganization and rewriting of photography curriculum (3 new courses, three major revisions), implementing facility upgrades to both digital and analog labs, hiring and supervising adjunct professors and technicians as well as general oversight of photo and digital facilities.

I undertook all the research, design, planning and ordering of equipment for new space. Instruction included black and white, color, alternative processes and photo history.
