Two years living in Greece on the island of Paros gave me a great chance to explore many of the Aegean Islands in a more intimate way than I ever could coming as a short term visitor. While many of the islands are very beautiful from one's first glimpse, for me it's clear that I developed a deeper and more subtle appreciation for all the different types of beauty to be found in Greece. While the white washed churches are beautiful there is so much more than just this stereotypical vision of Greece.
