Four years and a half years living in Italy in four different locations gave me a chance to see an enormous amount of the peninsula--and yet I feel I've barely scratched the surface. As beautiful as so many of the other countries I've visited have been, Italy would be hard to beat as the most beautiful destination for a photographer. Unfortunately, most of the images I shot in Florence were black and white and with film and so I have yet to get around to scanning some of these to include them on this website...
